Labview System Exec.vi execution problem

Very useful suggestions. ... I suppose to leave the other remote instrument alone for now. But datasocket seems a way for future or now. It will be worth to look into it. You are ahead of me. ... Thanks, for sure.

I didn't understand, even if wait till finished was set to TRUE, it only
should stop the the loop which called the script through system comamnd, not
the other loop which should keep running.

That is what you think or we all would expect. Base on what I have experienced, LV (Linux version) is not doing that unless you set the wait to False, otherwise it halts all VI executions (regardless they were indepent or not) unil "System Exec.vi" completes its tasks. ...
