And what about "all the" Asus, Lenovo,Dell, … computers for business?
(Especially when company IT wants to add CRM/production management stuff/other development software.)
We are talking about business and not about consumer machines!

This seems to be happening now. I went to best buy to buy a tablet/laptop for work recently and all the Microsoft and Samsung machines were using it.
While Snapdragon X is based on the ARM architecture, Windows 11 on Snapdragon includes a compatibility layer that allows it to run x64 applications written for x86-64 processors. This means most existing Windows software, including games, can be run on Snapdragon X-based PCs.
This should work for LabVIEW development and basic applications but VISA may have issues with accessing hardware through the emulation layer. Snapdragon X laptops are in the $800 range, you can get an Intel based laptop in the same price range so why bother?
