Labview crashing all the time

I am doing a project for college using the labview and I am trying to understaind .vi system. I use the 8.2 version on my college pc with NI-SCOPE 5102, NI-DMM 4060 AND NI-FGEN 5401. The problem is about 2 weeks ago I have having some frequently crashes in the program while I do the most normal operations: opening certain .vi's like fgen initiate generation.vi (opening a front panel after placing that .vi in the block panel) or even opening .vi in the Guetting Started panel like the nifgen_reference_clock_example.vi. I have a deadline to acomplish the project of Setember 30th. Please someone help me.

I running out of time. Isn't anybody that has the same problem as me? Didn't anybody manage to overcome this problem?

Do you get any error messages? Have you tried to repair the LabVIEW installation? Reinstall the drivers?

Perhaps your computer's hardware is physically defective? Do other large applications also seem to be crashing more frequently? ( http://www.memtest.org/ can be useful for diagnostics.)
