Correct me if I am wrong but I thought there wasn't an evaluation version for linux. The link points to an executable.

I believe you will need to contact your local sales office.

One more thing that can be done is that you try using a system with Windows and Linux and try running the LabVIEW evaluation version for Windows on Linux using Wine.

That's not the same as using LabVIEW for Linux, but you can work on the Linux system while using LabVIEW nevertheless.

I m also flummoxed by that link.  If we click the link inside it, it takes us to the LV for Windows download page.

Adnan is correct, there is no downloadable evaluation version for Linux. You have to contact your local NI office. I'm not sure why the link is there, I'll contact the webmasters with the feedback. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
