Labview memory problem

I don't see anything in the program that I could blame on LabVIEW for using memory. The only thing that you repeatedly call is the dll for the IOtech board. As Jarrod said, you need to check with them about a possible memory leak. And, if they wrote the program as you said in your first post, why won't they look at the problem?

Hi

Well, IO Tech is very nice vendor. They first replaced my DAQBoard 500 with DAQBoard1000. They are also continously working on their vi to find out weather it is consuming memory or not. They had also released a new patch. However, I wanted to confirm that weather my program consumes any memory or not.

hi there

i took a look at the IOTech VIs and found at least four canditates for a memory leak (see attachment)

the behaviour you described are clear symptoms of leakage (the 30MB offset is ok)

Best regards
chris

Thanks Chris,

I forwarded the reply to IOtech too and will implement changes suggested by you and will try.
