Labview on Vista RTM installation error

I just installed the final version of Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Now I would like to install Labview. After starting the setup of Labview 8.2 PDS I get the following error message:

The Windows Installer engine is corrupt. To attempt to resolve this issue, please register the engine by running regsvr32.exe on msi.dll.

Is there anybody who can instruct me what to do now?

I just got back from a technical symposium where one of the presentations was Vista and LabVIEW. I don't know whether it was running Vista 32 or 64 but LabVIEW crashed a few minutes into the demo. This wasn't totally unexpected as NI just got the final Vista drop as well. You might want to wait a little while unitl NI can finish its testing. I wouldn't be surprised to see a patch released in order to use 8.2 and Vista. You are also going to have to wait a while for 64-bit kernel drivers. Without those, you won't be able to do any hardware I/O on Vista 64.
