Spend some time with the Report Generation Toolkit examples that ship with LabVIEW. Load them, run them, modify them, and learn how they work. For creating new Workbooks, there's a Revised Excel example right here in this Forum -- type "Revised" in the Search window you see when you open this Forum, and you will find it.
Once you learn a few things, start writing LabVIEW code to do what you want to do. If necessary, "make up data" and get the writing of the Report worked out. Once you can do that, come back and (if you still need help) we'll help with the "reading" part.
