Latest Version of NI-Max Not Populating Network Devices

After upgrading from NI-MAX Version 20.5 to Version 21.5, the available network devices already detected do not populate and the search hangs up.  The only time the list populates is when an un-detected device shows up on the list.  Is there a work-around to update the available devices?
