Lecroy LT364 transferring screendump to PC

Hi all,

I'd like to transfer the screendump (complete image in e.g. .bmp format) of the lecroy LT364 on my computer. I am using labview 7.0. I don't have any idea how to transfer the complete image from the oscilloscope over GPIB into my PC?

I know the SCDP? function and I can put the plot and the controls on the GPIB bus but I don't know then how to use this "image stream". Is there any special VI which I can use for this function?

Hello Matthias,

there is an instrument driver than can be downloaded from our homepage. I just had a quick look at it - it seems that it is one driver working for the whole familiy of LeCroy scopes. That is why it might be that not all scope functionality is included. In case you have not tried that driver, download it here.
If you really need to program your own VIs for communicating with the instrument, you will have to closely refer to the instruments manual.
Try to get started with the Instrument I/O Assistant. It helps you interactively to communicate with the scope and to interpet the answer strings that are returned.
