License changes national instruments

Dear all,

I am currently working with labview for about a year professionally. In that same year national instruments changed their licensing system. We have multiple licenses in the company and for the life of me, I cannot understand what is in each license. NI does not talk to us anymore because we are to small of a customer. The bottom one, i know what is in there. i aquired it myself through a third party distributer (because that is the way it seems to work now for small customers). The other two, i have no idea what is in those packages. They were aquired through NI directly.

I need to know if they are subscribtion based or perpetual. They do not apeard to have a date in the Ni license manager so i think they are perpetual, but i am still not sure. I still do not know what is in those packages anyway.

A LabVIEW license consists of a product number like M12X34567 and an email account on NI.COM. You need both to activate and use the software. The email account must address a real person according to NI.

Multiple product numbers can be linked to one email account. But a specific product number can only be linked to one email account.

So log into your email account and check for licenses. If you don't see all product numbers listed then you must hunt down which account they were registered with. Ask whoever paid for the software and get the communication from NI. The details will be included there.
