Hello! We are planning to sell a PC that uses Vision Acquisition Software to our customers.
We will check if our software works well with the PC after activating the Vision Acquisition Software license first and then will ship the same PC to customers.
I have a question: Is it possible to transfer the license when we sell the PC to customers?
Vision Acquisition Software we will sell to customers:
I found Software License Transfer Form here. Is this form the one we need to use in this case?
Thank you!

You may want to contact NI sales before you do anything else. There is a Run-Time Deployment license for NI-Vision that lets your customers use your EXE on one PC. I believe it's much cheaper than the VAS license, perpetual, and there are volume licensing options.

Hi NIquist,
I think you might be thinking of "Vision Development Module" ($7,074 USD). The "Vision Acquisition Software" and "Vision Development Module Deployment" are both $582 USD, and VAS can be used as the VDM deployment license.

I was thinking of those, but I thought there was a per PC deployment license that only costs about $100 perpetual if you only run your EXE, not the dev system.
That was a while back though. Things may have changed. I was using the big, expensive VAS + Vision Builder for Automated Inspection package and remember having to pay around $100 for every station we ran it on. Kind of a kick in the ass after what we paid for the dev software, but at least it was perpetual. It's nice that they no longer charge for that. 🤑
