Limitations in the TDM file format?

Are there any limitations in the TDM file format or Write to measurement file Express VI ? Can Write to measurement file Express VI be used to write measurements of many hours or even days without problems?

As a side question, is there a way to define the TDM name. When I use Write to measurement file Express VI to save TDM files, DIAdem shows them as unnamed.

Hi Tomi,

TDM is not limited as I know, but a good site to have a look about TDM is here: www.ni.com/tdm

If I where you, I would use the Data Storage VI´s to save my data. You have quit more options for saving descriptions and informations in to your TDM-File.

You can find these VI´s in the File I/O Palette as a Sub-Palette.
