Linux Real Time OS and Industrial EtherNet/IP compatability

I have an existing program that has been used on the PXIe-8133 running the Phar Lap real time operating system.  This program uses NI-Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP extensively.  We recently purchased a new NI PXIe system, Chassis = NI-PXIe-1092 Controller = NI-PXIe-8881, and found out the only real time operating system it supports is the Linux real time OS.  After reading about compatibility of the drivers I found that Ethernet/IP communications driver is not supported on this OS.  My questions are:

1. Will Ethernet/IP be supported by this operating system in the future?

2. Will support be available when version 21.0 of the driver is released?

3. If so when will it be released?

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Since most of the cRIO-903x, 904x, 905x and 906x are already supported it can't be that the Ethernet/IP driver is generally incompatible with NI Linux RT. Therefore the problem can only be that there is no installation support for PXI(e) targets yet. Good change that the version 21.0 will add support for this, as it is mostly a packaging problem. The compiled binary modules pretty much exist already.

I appreciate your feedback.  That makes perfect since. Now I am hoping that version 21.0 gets released soon.
