Loading File to DG2020A

Hi All

I am using Tektronix Data Generator (DG2020A), i need to load file to this intrument.

Normally in manual operation the file is loaded to this intrument through floppy drive. But i want to load a file from my PC to this instrument through GPIB, i do have drivers for this instrument, but there is no such VI that directly does this, Can anyone suggest a way-out !!!

In the Programmer's Guide, are there any instruction to load from disk? Is there a Hard Drive within the instrument?  I am not familiar with that particular instrument, however, on some instruments (other manufacturer) you have to copy the file to the Hard Drive over GPIB and then load the file from the Hard Drive.

First you need to know what command (instructions) are available to load from file.  There may be an example and / or an explanation on how to do what you are trying to achieve.

I found out that there is no way we can load file into the instrument as such..

What needs to be done is to set the block data for each channel that you want to use !!!

I hope this may help someone, someday ...... saving some time ... haha....
