Thanks for getting back to me. I have since found some VI's that may meet your
need to use Lookup table type functions in LabVIEW. I found the VI's on
National Instruments' website at the url below:

There are three related VI's that may be of interest. At this site, go to:
LabVIEW>>Categories>>General and look for 'Forcing an Ascending Order in a
Lookup Table'
LabVIEW>>Categories>>Fundamentals>>Arrays and Clusters and look for 'Lookup and
Interpolate'
LabVIEW>>Categories>>Advanced Programming Techniques>>Data Manipulation and
look for 'Parse Lookup Table'
These VI's are from a 3rd party
company called Bloomy Controls. I have
modified a couple of them for my particular application and they seem to be
doing the job for me. I hope they are a helpful starting place for you also.
