That vi should be an essential part of the LabVIEW programmer's toolbox. On my Windows desktop there are links to similar vis - one for each LV version.
A useful variant is a vi that aborts all running vi's without the user's intervention. This is needed when a modal dialog is opened in a tight loop preventing you to click on the stop or abort buttons - usually due to a poorly implemented error handling.
