MAX database connection error

When I use the Devices and Interfaces software, there is nothing under the Devices and Interfaces.  When I try to open Device and Interfaces I get the error, "MAX Database Connection Error:  There was a problem connecting to the database.  Please restart your computer and contact National Instruments if the problem persists."  I have restarted my computer, and this does not fix my problem.  LabVIEW will not interface with my Agilent 33220A function/arbitrary waveform generator.  My laptop and the Agilent connect through a USB.

Hi!

Go to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX\Data,
clean up the folder and reinstall the MAX.

Hello,

Thank you for posting on the National Instruments forum.  The following KnowledgeBase has several solutions to the MAX Database Connection Error.

Why Do I Get a Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Database Connection Error?

Also, since you're using the Agilent 33220A with LabVIEW, you should download the latest instrument driver for this device, which is available from our Instrument Driver Network.  Have a great day!
