HI,
I am trying to write an 8 column data into an excel template using MS Office Report Express VI. Some how it introduces an extra first column that has 0.0 to 44.0 (i have 45 rows of data).
Please let me know if any one experienced this and is there a work around for this?
Thanks for your help.

Dattu,
I have a lot of experience using the Report Generation Toolkit, but I have never (and, probably will never), use the "MS Office Report Express VI". Express VIs are designed to provide a "Quick and Dirty Result" that may (or, as in your case, may not) be what the User intended.
If you go to the beginning of this Forum and search for "Revised Excel " (and put the space after the word "Excel", you will find an example for using the Report generation Toolkit that I posted just over six years ago. As I recall, it does not use a Template, but generates the Report with headers, including a set of Identifiers (Date, Time, Operator), a set of Data (with column headers), and even a Graph. [Here is the link to the Revised "Generate Excel Report" ].
If this does not provide you with enough information to solve your problem, post the code that you do have (best is to compress the folder containing all of the files in your Project, and attach the resulting ZIP file -- I will not look at "pictures" of code). If you need to use an existing Excel Workbook as a Template, please attach it, as well. But I urge you to try, first, to solve this yourself ...
