I also purge the MDF folder occasionally. I have also deleted the NI packages and not noticed any issue.
Back in the day I was the first employee to get an SSD laptop. I think it was a ZIF drive, with a SATA adapter. It only had 64GB of space, and was running Windows XP. But I installed multiple versions of LabVIEW, and then had a batch file set to run them all at the same time. Watching 5 or so versions of LabVIEW open up in a couple of seconds was amazing, but I always struggled with space.

I'm not sure who best to mark as the "Solution" provider as no one person gave me the full answer, but I've selected Terry_ALE as he had the first post on the FPGA tools. A shame you can't select more than one...

Yes, you can mark multiple posts in a thread as a solution.
