Matching list of words as alternates in match pattern vi

I apologize in advance if this seems trivial but I was searching the discussion boards for around an hour now and couldn't find a finality to my question.  Is there a way to use Match Pattern.vi and put whole strings as alternates in the regular expression enclosed in the square brackets?  I realize that there are other ways to go around this such as putting each word in its own Match Pattern.vi and just using "OR" in the offsets to find a match.   Is there a more efficient alternative to doing this such as putting [word1, word2] in the regex?  I've tried several experiments but could not get the desired results in LabView.  I've seen several posts concerning Match Pattern.vi so if this question has been anwered already, I'd appreciate the link in case I didnt use the correct key words in my search.   Thanks in advance.  -M

hmmm.... somehow this went into the teststand forums instead of labview.  not sure how i can change this...
