Missing "Compare VIs" menu item

According to the Help, it must be there 

"Select Tools»Compare»Compare VIs from the front panel or block diagram menu of a VI"

But it is not (see the screenshot attached).

Using LabVIEW Full Development System 2011 SP1

Compare VIs requires the professional system. Full is not enough.

That being said, I think a case could be made to include this core functionality in all levels of LabVIEW.

For a text programming language, anyone can do a diff on two text files. It is a very basic functionality.

The usability of LabVIEW as a full featured programming language is crippled if code comparison is not part of the basic tool set. Maybe I'll write it up as in idea.....

Sadly, with a software lease the full development is automatically activated.

Activating the pro isn't a problem, but you have to do it.

And when renewing, the professional license seems to fall back to full.

I have the same problem but I have installed the professional development system.

Can anyone help me?

My LV Version is 21.0.1 Professional Development System

Compare appears only after you open a project or even a simple vi.
