Do you have a fixed point datatype being wired into your arithmetic functions?
If you do, then look at the properties of the function, it looks like saturate becomes an option.

I am using the FPGA module, and after upgrading from LabView 8.5.1 to 8.6 I can no longer see/access saturation arithmetic functions. They don't show up in a search either. I have reinstalled the FPGA module and RIO device drivers but it did not fix the problem. I did not uninstall 8.5.1 as I need both systems for a little while.
Hi dshaddock,
Did you upgrade your FPGA and RT modules to 8.6 also?
Are you working with fixed point numerics?

Yes, I have installed both the FPGA and RT modules for 8.6. I am not using fixed point numbers, just integers.

Then what saturation arithmetic functions are you looking for? Since you haven't installed 8.5.1, could you post a screen shot pointing out these functions?

I attached the screen shots of the functions in 8.5.1 and the empty space in 8.6 where they used to be.

Hi dshaddock,
I found this info in the release and upgrade notes for FPGA module 8.6:
"Saturation Arithmetic VIs No Longer Supported
The Saturation Arithmetic VIs are no longer available on the Saturation Arithmetic palette. However, existing applications that use the Saturation Arithmetic VIs continue to work. "

Doh! That would explain it. Rather unsatisfying resolution, I was a heavy user of saturation arithmetic. I guess I can get the same behaviour with fixed point functions. Thanks for you help.
