Mouse wheel behavior when a control is higher than panel

Dear All,

I would like to differentiate mouse wheel behavior, when a panel vertical scrollbars is active.

When mouse is over the control I would like mouse wheel scrolls only the control and not the entire panel. Please see attached .

I think if you make the vertical scrollbar of the control visible then you get the desired behaviour.

Having the control's scrollbar visible would also indicate to the user that the control is actually scrollable.

One way is to turn off the main scrollbar while the VI is in operation.  Right-click on the vertical scroll bar of the main window and click Vertical Scrollbar->Off While Running.
