Mr. Johnson, I have a question concerning CNC VI's.

I am running an AEROTECH controller and would like to be able to take a post processed CNC program, insert into a VI, and run a LASER that is micro-etching onto a wafer. Do you have any example VI's that I can work with?
Thank You, Terry Frentrop

There are no VIs for directly including CNC code that we know of. Maybe someone out there will have something for you. As for including CNC programs into VIs you will need to see what is the format of the data on the CNC program, ways to send it to the VI (serial, data, file, etc.) and how to translate for your motion controller. I guess giving NI a call would be better to understand your system setup and if there is any help we can give you.

ABMSoft - an NI alliance member in Eastern Europe has developed a very powerful G-code interpretor for LabVIEW. Their ABMS-NC toolkit for LabVIEW also includes an offline simulation tool. They have successfully deployed many machines using this toolkit. Its available directly from ABMSoft for $995. You can contact ABMSoft directly.
