Multi-trace strip chart?

Hi Gang,

I've been programming LV for years, but have never done much with strip charts.  My present project needs a multi-trace strip chart.  I want to add points to each trace.  The way I'm doing this seems way-too-complicated.  I have to feed the chart indicator a 2D array containing a single column, and replace the numbers in that column for each update.  There's gotta be a simpler way.  What am I missing?

All enlightenment will be greatfully, and humbly accepted.

Thanks!

Roger

I am also interested in this. I am looking for a way to show 2 threshold lines on a chart, for example a high and a low temperature threshold along with the temperature chart. I think this coul dbe done as a multi-trace strip chart as well.

Hello (you didn't sign your name)

Well, that part is easy.  You just input your threshold levels as traces on your chart and identfy them as such on your plot descriptions.

You can also bundle your points and feed the cluster to the chart.  Usually much cleaner, plus you can use a shift register or feedback node to simplify cases where you do not need to update points whose value hasn't changed.
