Has anyone done any work with IP Multicast?

There is a net phone example here using UDP protocol.

It needs labVIEW player I think and only works on a LAN.

The UDP functions in LabVIEW support unicast and broadcast. I am looking for
information on joining an IP multicast group and then receiving UDP data
from the multicast server.
