Why does my Custom Control change on different machines?

Does anybody know why my custom controls change appearance when I switch
machines... its actually only the instances of the controls in my vi's
that change. If I bring up the saved custom control, it looks fine.

Specifically, I took a new control thermometer and modified the
appearance of the scale a little... i.e. moved it to the other side and
changed some text attributes (including justify/center). When I change
machines, the tic marks wind up in the middle of the scale numbers...
why???

I'm not 100% sure, but that could be a font issue. On the (many) occasions when I see that happen, it is due to a font that is used in the control on the development machine but not present on the target machine.

Thanks Dan... I think your right about the font issue... but, I'm still
not clear on these new controls and all the models, etc. files required
for the realtime engine to work properly???

Have you also noticed the new controls seem a lot slower?
