Could you upload it somewhere? It seems I'm in the same pickle as the other person asking last month. Found the LV drivers but don't have access to software, thus missing the dll. Also, have yet to get a response from NHR.

Yeah 30+ years in the business and NHR is the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with.

NI buying them has not improve anything as far a customer support either. I don't understand company's that don't have their drivers, manuals, etc. available for download on their website. What's the point of making us jump through hoops like provide proof that we own one of their products just to get the divers. Then when you finally get them to allow you to get the drivers, you have to use archaic and insecure FTP protocol to get them from a secret location.

My company blocks access to all file sharing sites like Dropbox, but I will try to remember to take them home and put them on my Dropbox.

I have found the software elsewhere, thanks for being more responsive than NHR.

Am I wrong here?

Yes you are wrong with your assessment. That last parameter of that Call Library Node is a parameter passed by reference. The wiring on the left side has no other effect than to actually make sure it is wired. This was necessary in old LabVIEW versions as it did not like unwired left terminals. Since quite some versions it does simply use the default default value in that case, but it doesn't hurt to wire it anyhow. That parameter returns a session handle that is then turned into a IVI resource by the IVI New Session function. And that IVI New Session function uses the input only to determine the IVI Class of the session. It might reuse the actual session if it is valid but otherwise it will simply create a new one. So far all is well.

Does the software you have install on Windows 7? I have an old disc, but it doesn't install on Windows 7, only Windows XP.

NHR hasn't touched their drivers since Windows XP. I had big hopes when NI bought NHR a few years ago. But NI decided to obsolete the smaller NHR AC and DC loads instead of updating the drivers.

NHR by NI is only interested in big money EV and Lithium battery companies...

But the I still use the XP drivers on Windows 7-10. It's been awhile since I had to deal with a new installation but it should work. Although I have not been able to install the drivers on Windows 11.

Is there a trick to getting the drivers installed on Windows 7? I can't run the installer from the provided disc because it says the operating system is unsupported. When I try to run the provided NHR VI, I get an error when it reaches Automation Open.

There is some mismatch here. The driver you try to use is obviously based on some Active X component. The driver originally talked about is an IVI driver, two VERY different approaches to talk to a device.

This is a question for NHR. But I will have to say that even though I have managed to get the NHR DC load drivers to install on Windows 7 and 10. NHR program that comes with the NHR DC Load crashes. This same thing happens on four different test systems.

It's been five years, NHR has no solution, they have obsoleted the product line and no longer support it.

Good luck...
