NI 5412 and LabView 7.1

I had a system with NI 5411 and LabView 7.1 excutables, this worked great.We recently upgraded the system and had to purchase NI 5412 instead of 5411. The application does not communicate with the card any more. I changed the card name in MAX to the old card name, inorder to retain the same executable. I can communicate to the card using MAX. But my original LabView 7.1 executable now returns Error - 1074135039. I also tried to use FGEN SOFT FRONT PANEL. Returned error - "unspecified error occured. VI sfpArb 3.vi was stopped at node 0x148C of subVI niFgen initialize with options.vi"

What version of NI-DMM are you using?

The latest version of NI-DMM is 2.4, and this may have to do with the issue.

I am currently researching more on that particular error message.

Hi,

If possible, could you send me the error description from the executable file?

We believe that you may need to reinstall your NI-FGEN and possible NI-DAQ drivers, but let's try to find out what the error description is before we proceed with that step.

I am  using NI-FGEN 2.3.1

I tried that yesterday. Today I am going to completely uninstall all LabView applications from the PC and start all over again. The error I got was from NIFGEN_init.vi. The message stated, "Error -1074135039 occured at vi.lib, This error code is undefined."

Hi, Please let me know how the reinstall goes. I recommend also reinstalling NI-DAQ and NI-FGEN. Best Regards, Evan
