NI-8451 SPI Atmel Serial EEPROM

Hi,

I need to program Atmel 25080 Serial EEPROM with a hex file using SPI interface.

1. Is it possible to do it using NI-8451 module and if yes how long would it take to program this 8KB EEPROM (it probably depend on the Labview speed, right)?

2. Are there any finished LabView programs (or scripts) for EEPROM programming?

Hi Daniel,

as the NI-8451 clocks with max 12MHz you can consider a speed of 12MBit/s, but I think it depends more on the device you want to program. The only example that I found in this field is here

this .vi doesn't help me a lot without description and parallel port wiring specification.

But thanks anyway, I'll try to write the software myself.
