NI 9148 Cannot detect NI 9472

We have a NI 9472 Digital Output that will connect in MAX if using a USB carrier but when you install it in a NI 9148 Ethernet RIO chasis it does not connect to it. Is there a compatibility problem with using the NI 9472 in a NI 9148?

Can you see the NI 9148 under Remote Systems in MAX? Ethernet RIO's and CompactRIO's alike will show up under Remote Systems if they are on the network. However, we will still not be able to see the 9472 under the 9148 in Remote Systems in MAX. It is best to view modules and chassis in an actual LabVIEW project:
