Hi.
I'm trying install NI-DAQmx 9.1.7. At first time, the installer hanged at 57%. I was unable to terminate the installer by clicking Cancel, so I kill the process in Task Manager. I tried to uninstall the product through Control Panel, but the uninstallation also hanged. I followed this steps (https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P7P4SAK&l=en-US) and manually uninstalled the product. After this, I runned two registry cleaners and restarted the computer. I runned the installer again, but it hanged at 4%, with a Command Prompt window with the message: "CertMgr Succeeded". I canceled the installer and runned it again, but it hanged at 0%, with the same message.
My computer is running Windows 7 Home Basic 32 bits.

Why are you trying to install DAQmx 9.1.7? That's around... 10 years out of date, if I remember right.
What LabVIEW version(s) do you have on the same computer? If it's 14 or later, install a version of DAQmx that matches it exactly (e.g. 2015 = DAQmx version 15). If earlier, check this chart.

I don't have LABVIEW. I have an A/D converter, which I will use to connect an manometer to a software computer via USB (not LABVIEW). In the A/D converter box there is a CD with DAQmx 9.1.7. I believe I have to install DAQmx in order to use the converter.

You will probably have better luck downloading an up to date version of DAQmx and NI-MAX. Depending on what software you plan on using to read the manometer you are probably going to need to do programming. I don't know of any data acquisition software that supports NI hardware in a plug and play manner. Simply plugging it into USB is probably not going to be the end of the story.
If you do have software that is plug and play with various NI hardware, please let me know, I would be pretty interested.

This is an internal software for my company.
I tried to install NI-DAQmx 17.1 (lastest version) on another computer, running Windows 10 x64, and the installation also hangs. What's happening??
The hardware I'm trying to use is NI USB-6008.

Hi rafaelvida,
Are you in Brazil?
If you are in Brazil, we are having some problems with the security software from Warsaw, it appears to be blocking the NI installer and it is used by many Brazilian banks. Here is the list:

You may take a look in this forum, that has a related topic:
Thanks,

I solved the problem.
I created a log file of installation, in accordance with this article.
In the log file, it said that two registry keys were missing. I created manually this keys, I runned setup again, and installation successful.
