I am starting up a class using my NI ELVIS III and LabVIEW 2019. When I add a measurement instrument, like a DMM, when I double click on the DMM, and it brings up the display. Under the "Configuration" Tab, "Instrument Control", Device, there are no drop down devices (see attachment). When I try to just run the DMM, I do get a configuration Error, and device" empty string. I have tried reloading software, NI MAX looks ok. Also, I get an error stating the SubVI 'NI ELVISmx DMM' SubVI is not executable. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!
