hello rpweber,

it sounds like the LabVIEW support is not installed along with the IMAQdx. try to download the latest Vision Acquisition CD and run the setup. this should include the LabVIEW support files:
Vision Acquisition Software 8.5.

kind regards,

Hello Robert,

the update works now, but there another problem I have:

I need to access the cameras in parallel operation. How  can I initialise the "IMAQdx Open Camera.vi" so that is uses more than one camera?

I have tried a workaround by using a while loop to detect the cameras connected to the system. The while loop stops if the "IMAQdx Open Camera.vi" returns an error. After this I have got an array of the sessions, by sending this to a for-loop to index the IMAQdx Grab .vi inside the for-loop is able to grab an image, but I have to close the cameras afterwards to open the next one which makes this procedure rather slow.

Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks

Hi,

I have a similar problem,

I have installed Vision 8.5.1 with NI-IMAQdx 3.1.2 software, but when I go to MAX I don't have the folder "NI-IMAQdx devices" and even in the help topics I have nothing that refers to NI-IMAQdx. On the contrary, in the software tree I have NI-IMAQdx 3.1.2 installed.

Is there some problem with the installation? or something else... I already tried several times.

Thank you in advance for you kind help,
Sincerely
Emanuele
