Hello All,
I have created an Installer for an exe that I created in Labview 2014 SP1. When I run this installer on another PC to install the exe, a dialog appear at around 45% saying:
"The NI MXS 14.5.0 installation has failed with the following error:
This installation package cannot be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package"
The installer then carries on to 100% and then says installation failed.
Does anyone know what this error relates to and how it can be resolved?
I am trying to install on to a Laptop which has no LabVIEW software at all. But I have included LabVIEW Run Time Engine 2014 SP1 and NI DAQmx Runtime 14.2 in the installer.
Any help would be much appreciated
