NI-VXI 3.3.1 LabVIEW VI's does not show up in the Instrument I/O Palette

I installed LabVIEW 8.5, then NI-VXI 3.3.1 on a Windows XP computer.  On older versions of LabVIEW, I remember seeing a VXI palette in LabVIEW under instrument I/O.  What else do I need to install to get the VXI related VI's to show up in LabVIEW 8.5?

Do you have an old version of LabView still installed on this machine?

If the NI-VXI API VIs are already installed for the previous version of LabVIEW, the installer won't install the support again for the newer version of LabVIEW. To install this support for the latest version, uninstall NI-VXI API support using the NI-VXI 3.3.1 installer. You can do this via Add/Remove Programs » National Instruments Software»Change.
