hi, KC:

Thanks very much, and I'm sorry for the delay of the reply. I have been ill yesterday and stayed at home. Smiley Sad
I tried to get an English manual from the website you provide by input the "7651" keyword in the search box of that website. Got the manual. But I found that the Yokogawa company stoped the production of 7651 model. Any story behind that?Smiley LOL

Hi,

Glad it works.

The 7651 is an old instrument. It works very well but it is outdated. The successor is the GS200. Also a beautiful instrument.

Hello,

is it possible to get such a VI for labview 8.2? Sadly I can't open this one.. and I think this might help me understand the complex program I inherited and which isn't working anymore-.-

Just remember not to send "*IDN?" to that instrument.  the Yoko 7651 locks up and needs to be power cycled if it gets that querey..... even though the manual claims it is IEEE 488 compliant (it obviously is not)

Hi Jeff,

Yes, I know . The VI's just work fine for this old instrument.

I still use these instruments in an automated test.
