Need driver for RS-232 between LabVIEW 5.1 and Simatic S5 PLC

Where can i find a driver to communicate a Simatic S5 PLC with LabVIEW 5.1 (32 bit) via com 1?

Actually, i´m using the prodwin.dll to do that between LabVIEW 4.1 (16 bit), but prodwin.dll is not a valid 32 bit driver.

Hi Jortegaa,

You can use the lookout protocol drivers in Labview (it is sold as the Industrial Automation OPC Server). This has drivers that will create an OPC server that can talk to the Siemens S5 PLC. You will use data socket to commuinicate to the OPC server. You can also go to BridgeView or upgrade to Labview 6 with the DSC module. Any of those solutions will allow you to communiate with the Siemens Simatic PLC using either the AS511 protocol or the 3964-3964R protocols.
