Need help URGENTLY with scripting on a web service!

I am at a late stage in my project and i have one last hurdle. I am trying to set a variable via a form request as a new value for a deployed Web service but can't figure out how.

I've taken the value form an input and assigned to a new variable. Is there any way to replace the existing vale of input with this new variable?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks for posting. In terms of scripting on a web service, there are several resources available to guide you in the right direction, including here and here. I recommend taking a look at them as, even though they are not exactly what you wish to do, they provide a good introduction to scripting on a web service that you can tailor for your own use.
