NetDDE connectivity problems using windows XP and 2000.

Trying to use NetDDE between two PC; one running windows xp the other 2000 and Labview 6.1 Prof. Dev. Each PC can ping the other. They are on different domains though.
Problem:
Used Knowledge Base 1959C0FR to setup DDEshare.exe and even used the examples provided, but it does not work. Any thoughts on things to try to resolve this problem.

Wow, I am not real sure on this one. I was finally able to get it to run on my machine when I figured out that I could not use \\localhost\TestServer as a service but instead had to just use TestServer. I was not able to get any other PCs to connect to it though, however I think it may be a privileges thing.

I did find this app note that also discusses how to use DDE and LabVIEW.
