I'm trying to set up a NetDDE comunication in W2K where a labview
program is the client and another program is the server. I can get
regular DDE to work fine, but when I moved to the network it doesn't.
As per Labview's instuctions I changed the service to
\\computer_name\service_name, but the directions become unclear as to
what to do to the server computer. Specifically, it sez to run
DDEShare.exe and "add a share", I suspect this is where I'm going
wrong as I don't understand anything about the subsequent window that
occurs. What is "old style" and "new style" refering to? Any hints
would be extremely helpful, thanks
