I just noticed something missing from the Project Manager context menus.

If you popup on a folder in the Project Manager, the context menu contains a sub menu to create new items. This menu does not contain a selection to create a new control. XControl is there, but not a regular control. Was this left for a reason or just an oversight.

I don't think this was an oversight but would make a great product suggestion, but I'll ask R&D just to make sure and re-post if there was an interesting motivation for the choice.
