Hello everyone..
I'd like to inquire if there is any hand on tutorial or instructions on how to program a system identification for a second order without a DAQ, what i have is a CRIO, which i generate a square signal, i retrieve the response, but i have a hard time getting the transfer function. Maybe if somebody has a link or a support for this, i'd really appreciate it.
Thank you very much

Hi E-Warrior,
I hope this tutorial will help you (2nd part of the turorial).
There is an example with a cDAQ but maybe you could change it to use it with your cRIO (or by a software solution).

Hello Vincent
Thank you man for ur response,
i am determined on fixing the issue i have, i am sure u probably have seen my other similar earlier thread, the problem i have Vincent is that i generate the signals inside the loop but i can't retrieve the signals "stimulus and response" outside the loop, in order to do SI TF block for identifying the model.
I am kinda sure it has something to do with the timming in the loop in the RT "CPU of the CRio" versus the sampling in the FPGA
So if you don't mind, can u spot the problem, the program isn't not big or anything, it is just one main VI that is a nightmare;
thank you sir

i tired to compress the whole project, but .rar isn't accepted, hope u'll be able to open the target RT file...that's where i attempt to do identification

Hello E-Warrior,
I'm not sure but if you try to display your signal outside the loop, you'll probably be able to display only the last value of this signal (and you won't see that single point on your graph.

Hey Vincent
But i thought and intuitively looks like the SI TF "this is the function that receives the stiumulus and the response" for identifying the model should be outside the loop.
Were you able to open the target VI...
thanks man. The help is appreciated
