Not able to capture signal in the TDS 3032B

Solved!
Go to solution

I am using the TDS 3032B oscilloscope. I am not able to capture the signal neither in the oscilloscope nor in the LabVIEW. I am using the RS 232 communication between the oscilloscope and the system. Is there any settings in the oscilloscope. Please help me.

Well, if you can't capture a signal manually, maybe the scope or the probe is broken?

Obviously, you have to first be able to see a signal manually before you even attempt to do something with a program. Swap probes, swap channels, swap signal sources, swap for a different scope itselt, etc. until you can isolate the problem. When you have done that and fixed the problem, try the example in the driver and psot back if you have any questions about that.

Hi!

Can you share how you capture the waveform from the oscilloscope?

Is it possible to have a screen capture from the oscilloscope to my pc through the rs232 port?

Thanks a lot.
