It's annoying to me mainly because it's part of a continuing trend for NI to make their products "cuter".  I don't want it to look "cute".  I want it to look "functional" and "legit".  "Cute" LabVIEW is hard to take seriously.  😕

I'll give you a kudo for that comment.  I don't hate it.  But it has a mesmerizing quality to it.

 

One other thing I noticed is that the font used seems like it was taken from a 1980's DOS screen.

That was my very first thought as I was updating NIPM a month ago.  And it still bothers me.

 

There were more comments over on LAVA, mostly making fun of the NIPM logo.

Not just that but the new green color scheme is appalling.
