Hello everybody!
I want to use some parallel port, labview programs with my old laptops using windows 95 and 98.
Which Labview version can I use for that purpose?
From where can I download such an old version for free or a trial version?
Thank you!

See here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/A79C1377D512156C86256F320053186B. Note: this is another one of those KB articles in which the image links point to an internal-only NI server. Click on the attachment to see the chart.

You can't legally download old versions, and there are no trial versions of old versions available. There was a German version of LabVIEW 6 available to download legally at one point. I have no clue if it still is, as this was several years back. Ebay would be one route to take to see if someone is selling an old version.

Hi,
the old LabView6.1 (full German version) is still available here (sorry, only German website).
It's "hidden" in the download section of the best German computer-related magazine

I think there has been an english version 6 available for download on an ni ftp server. Of course I didn't read the license as I have (licensed) access to the c't version mentioned above.
In a thread the last weeks there was also mentioned, that there is a 7 available if you use it with LEGO.

Hey Nicku,
Attached is the image that was missing from the above linked Knowledgebase. In regards to accessing older versions of LabVIEW, if you have a valid support contract, you can access some earlier versions of LabVIEW from the Service Resource Center . However, versions of LabVIEW available there do not go back as far as LabVIEW 6.1 which is what you would need for a Window 95 machine. Unfortunately, free or trial versions of LabVIEW would not be available for LabVIEW 6.1. It might be helpful to contact a local sales representative to discuss what options you have.

Hello,
I have found the German version but it seems to be for Linux and Mac.
Can I use Linux version for Windows 95?
I asked that before starting to load this version in my laptop because I can use only the parallel transfer with Norton commander and I will search first for a cable.

Thank you all for help!
The best solution was the simplest one: I asked for support to our local sales representative.
