Hi! I am trying to program an one-single pulse generator with a HP81110A pulse generator and LabVIEW (version 8.2 or 2013). I have performed different programs in order to create a similar system to real device, but the result is similar: a pulse train is obtained. The program includes triggered pulses (for one case) or triggered burst (for another one), but the same result is obtained. Thus, I have controlled the trigger out and I have observed that the triggered response is very different when I work in manual mode than when I work with LabVIEW. In manual mode, one-single short pulse is only generated by the trigger, while a wide-pulse train is generated when the LabVIEW program is used.
I have read older questions and answer (in NI community) about similar problems programming that device but I do not find a solution for my problem. Can anyone give me a suggestion for solving my problem?
PS: the driver that I am using are the specific drivers for LabVIEW 8.2 and LabVIEW 2013 (I downloaded from NI site).
PS2: I read the HP81110A manuals (device and programming) and I do not find the answer or suggestion which I am looking for.
