You are right. The network path is still alive. I am recording all PING time from the main gathering application to all clients and Ping time is not different than when the client PC is in a 'good shape'. Hence a discrimination based on the Ping time is not possible (as a patch I had considered not calling the Open Application Reference if the Ping time was too long).
Any other thoughts?
Any ideas from NI people? Would there be a 'magical' switch in the .ini file that would make this Timeout really working in all circonstances?
