Opening and Closing VI

Hi,
In my program i have a main VI that give the users options to enter
other VI. When the user clicks on the VI the new VI appears but the main VI
stays open, how can I close the first main VI automatically?

Thanks,
Rob

I think the easiest way would be to open a VI reference (using VI server) to
the main
VI from the New VI. The new VI can then set the properties of the Main VI to
close it's front panel.

Check the manual on the VI server VIs and the properties.

hi all,

When you use this method, make sure that you leave the Top-Level vi's
reference open while it's panel is closed. Otherwise, your VI's will
stop executing when you close the reference.

After you make the Top Level VI visible again you can close it's
