Opto 22 Control Board PCI-AC5 Driver

Hello All,
I am using a Opto 22 module to control a series of 24V DC valves. I would like to get rid of the intermediatory NI board and use a Opto PCI board to drive the module rack directly (that would save me one screw terminal space on a congested setup and I think would make the system more reliable). I understand that the Opto 22 company makes a PCI board called the PCI-AC5 that communicates directly with the Opto 22 module rack (G4PB16) directly. My question is about the labview drivers for the PCI board. Has anyone used the board with labview before? I called up Opto 22 and their answer is that it can use Active X containers and the VB and C++ code is provided.
Any help on using the Opto PCI board with Labview would be app
reciated. Thank you.

Hi,

There are some shipping examples for how to call dll. This is in case you want to access the drivers through dll. There are other examples for how to use the Active X. Go to Help --> Example Finder or Find Examples and enter keywords like active x or dll. We don't have any experience in NI on those boards so that is why I cannot give you more information about them.
Here are some links about using Opto 22 in LabVIEW.

Hope this helps.
